an idyllic escape by the sea
beach access breakfast selection fresh food convenient boardwalk
The proximity to the beach was divine. waking up and walking directly onto the sands was a joy. we enjoyed several breakfasts at the hotel restaurant. The selection was amazing!!! the staff kept everything fresh and plentiful. the hotel had convenient access to the boardwalk, a great area for a romantic walk.
i did notice that some hallway ventilation seemed temporary. it was there due to recent repairs after a storm. however, it did not affect the overall stay much.

perfect location onsite restaurant old mattress unpleasant odor
the location was perfect. it was right on the beach close to downtown and shops. there are nice restaurants on site and a beautiful pool.
the mattress was very old and lumpy. the carpet had a strong unpleasant odor and the entire place felt neglected.

convention proximity beach boardwalk cute drivers ocean scenery
the hotel is conveniently near the convention center across the street (location was key for me). i really enjoyed the beach boardwalk and could even watch a concert from my room, a nice surprise. the valet drivers were very helpful and cute. i also received a complimentary room upgrade to an ocean view.

the hotel features a heated whirlpool for relaxation. a fitness room is available to use. live music from the band fireside was available at the hotel barwith a fun evening atmosphere.

carla, the server at the breakfast buffet, was amazing and attentive. she remembered our orders each morning, made breakfast a treat (i really appreciated that). the staff, in general, was sweet and attentive.

the hotel's location is perfect, directly facing the ocean. i found it convenient to walk to various shops and restaurants on the avenue. the ocean center for events is within walking distance.

clean entrance professional staff secure elevator direct access
the hotel entrance looked clean. the front desk staff was professional. i liked that only guests could use the elevator using the room key. the pool area was nice and clean. the hotel gave direct access to the beach. i appreciated that feature.
it was a very slight thing, though.

I enjoyed good food at don rico's. nikita provided very good service, i found that good. the chicken nachos were very tasty. the key lime pie was also delicious. Both enhanced the stay.

the hotel has an excellent location directly on the beach. you can enjoy the sunrise right from the bed. the location near the beach made it simple to enjoy the ocean. it was convenient.
